About

I like to do cool things.

My name is Lauren Mohler, and I’m a multidisciplinary artist, former college volleyball player, and student of the world. In a world of increased automation, I seek to embrace these new tools to revert to an older time when the act of creation was central and people were equally skilled in seemingly disparate disciplines. My work spans drawing, painting, digital experimentation, and really, anything that I find creatively interesting.

I’m drawn to expression. I’m intrigued by the beauty of imperfection and not the precision of automation. I’m interested in movement, emotion, and the energy of something that isn’t overcalculated.

Experimentation is central to my process. I don’t want to stay in a lane.

This site is both portfolio and proof:

proof that you can choose a new direction,

proof that creativity never dies,

proof that reinvention is powerful.
